We are always very humbled and honoured for this exposure.
I am honoured to be a part of this panel at Cass Business School on Monday 27th of March, where I will debate trends, barriers, opportunities and support to female entrepreneurship. Although female entrepreneurship has been on the rise globally for the last 10 years or so. Despite this positive trend, women still find it difficult to launch and grow their business ideas.
Speaking about the Rise of Female Muslim Entrepreneurs at Muslim Aids Charity event
It has been quite hectic lately as we are in full swing and almost ready to launch our Eid & Ramadan collections. Amongst all the chaos, I have been taking my role as a mentor to start up businesses very seriously and feel a real sense of satisfation and hope for these budding entrepreneurs inspite us going through some very challenging and unpredictable times.
On a different note, it has been a real privilege to be asked to talk about my entrepreneurial journey to various publications, news agencies and more recently at a major charity event held by Muslim Aid in London. I felt extremely honoured and humbled to being a part of this very worthy cause. Alhamdulillah the charity exceeded their target in raising funds for Syria.
I was also extremely touched to be asked by one of our very lovely stockists Anafiya Gifts to feature in their Muslimah Mumprenuer series, which I happily agreed to. You can read the full interview by clicking on this link. Also check out their website for some inspiring Islamic gifts, books and stationery.
